  • WHERE ARE THE SESSIONS RUN?
All sessions currently take place via Zoom. As I value human connection though, if you live in Athens, Greece, I’d be more than happy to take you out for a coffee or have a face to face session at Impact Hub, Monastiraki.
  • HOW MUCH DO THE SESSIONS COST?
You can send me a message to look at the price list for individual 'eating well' sessions, as well as two more affordable packages so you can see what suits you best. Remember, freedom is priceless, and think of all the money you will save in the long term by finally saying goodbye to dieting for good!
  • WHAT WILL THE STRUCTURE OF OUR SESSIONS BE LIKE?
⁃ 1 x 15 minute Free Discovery Video Call: This is a chance to share your experience with food, dieting, and your body, learn more about how I work, and get to know each other. ⁃ 1 x 60 minute Initial Consultation: We will dedicate this meeting to discuss your past and present eating habits, challenges, and relationship to food. You will be asked some clinical questions such as your medical and weight history, so I can get to know you better and construct my dietetic assessment. ⁃ 1 x 75 minute Education Session: Here we will set your goals and we will build the foundation knowledge of the topics we will be covering in our sessions, such as healthy eating, the disadvantages of dieting, intuitive eating, body image, and many more! ⁃ 45 minute Follow up Sessions: These are in depth nutrition psycho-education meetings completely tailored to your needs. Sessions are interactive as I like to share my screen to look at leaflets and resources that you will ‘take home’ and keep forever with you.
  • HOW OFTEN WILL WE BE SEEING EACH OTHER?
What I want for all of my clients is to be independent and not need a Dietitian to guide them on how to eat. This usually takes time, so we can use our momentum with weekly sessions to start working on your goals. As time passes, we can be seeing each other less often. This will depend on your level of safety, the level of support you need, and your progress.
  • WILL I BE PROVIDED A NUTRITION PLAN?
Not necessarily. I like to train my clients to know what to eat by using their inner nutrition knowledge and body wisdom. However, we can initially use a rough meal guide with details on food groups and inspirational meals to choose according to what you feel like eating.
  • HOW LONG WILL OUR WORK TOGETHER LAST?
Healing our relationship to food is a long term process as opposed to ‘quick fix’ diets. Everyone is different and needs their own pace and time, but usually recovery can take from some months to even some years for others. It all depends on the stage where you’re at, your willingness to change, and your commitment to the programme.
  • WILL I LOSE WEIGHT?
In my work I like focus on health and wellbeing instead of focusing on changing a number on the scale as this can lead to body and food preoccupation, increased stress, depression, and disordered eating. Once we normalise and optimise your nutrition habits, you may notice that your weight is getting closer to your 'set point weight'. We will observe this as a mere side effect of eating in a more balanced way to cultivate more neutrality towards body changes.
  • DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING IN BETWEEN THE SESSIONS?
Most change happens in-between sessions and for that reason, I love to set specific activities/homework to complete which we will go through in follow-ups alongside in-session activities. All homework, including food choices and challenges, worksheets, and even meditations, is optional, but it is required for your journey to be more effective.
  • CAN I CONTACT YOU IN BETWEEN OUR SESSIONS?
Of course you can! I know it is important to feel you have someone walk by your side and support you in the process. Besides this, I always like to see messages from my clients. I’m usually good at replying to emails and WhatsApp during my working hours.
  • DO ANY OTHER CLINICIANS NEED TO BE INVOLVED?
Research shows that the most effective treatments are the ones involving a team of specialists, such as a Dietitian together with a Psychologist, a medical Doctor, and a Psychiatrist. I’d be more than happy to liaise with them if needed and of course only if you agree. If you’re not seeing anyone else, it’s okay as it’s not mandatory, but I can send you a list of clinicians I trust in case you need them.
